STATEMENT FROM BELL GEOSPACE

A Malaysian FTG Multi-Client Programme which includes airborne 3D Full Tensor Gravity Gradiometry and magnetic survey data has been undertaken across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. It covers 376,000 sq kms of which 250,500 sq kms fully processed and interpreted FTG data is available now from Bell Geospace, with the remaining datasets of the programme area expected to complete in 2020.

John Macfarlane, General Manager at Bell Geospace commented ‘’Data has been acquired on a 2km x 8km line plan and is delivered with the full complement of measured tensor component, backed by magnetics for screening the FTG anomalies. What this means to the end-user is high quality, high resolution results that can be used for all manner of decision making. Even during these uncertain times for our industry, potential oil & gas operators need quality data for decision making where to invest their efforts in Malaysia. These newly acquired FTG data provides unambiguous geological depictions at a relatively low cost of entry’’.

The FTG and Magnetic data can be licensed as standalone datasets or interpreted by Bell Geospace and partners based on requirements.
